I know a family in Zotoluca, the Anaya's. Rene Anaya has been putting together a business plan for almost 4 years. He has his connection set up & customers commited to purchase their bottled water.
They plan to use glass bottles that are turned in for deposit. Completely cleaned & refilled. No plastic bottles, they have nowhere to put that kind of garbage.
I have thought about the Anaya's & how to help & who to ask for financial backing. I do know anyone to ask. Anyway, I was sitting here working on the computer fidgeting with some coins that sit on my desk, a couple loonies from Canada & some old mexican coins.
And I thought about sending the coins to Rene. I have had the Canadian coins since 1990 & the mexican coins before that. I even have a couple bills.
People go to Mexico & end up with some mexican money that sits around.
Alright, I will get to the point. I am asking for everyones pesos, any Mexican money. I am going to have it taken to the Anaya's.
I will get some pictures of Zotoluca & the Anaya's for everyone to see & if you want I can keep sending you pics & updates.
Their water is terrible & it is not always available. When it is available it runs down an irrigation ditch & they get as much as they can & store this irrigation water in concrete holes. I dont know what to call them.
I want us (any participant) to help get them the water filters they need & sanitary bottling equiptment.
I would Love all the Help I can get. To help the Anaya's
You can email me & I can give you my telephone number if you wish. The address to send any pesos or whatever to is...
5601 South Sanford St.
Murray Utah 84123
That is my address. It can be mapquest'ed. I live here. Anyone can stop in & ask how things are going.
Please help me spread the word. I am trying to get an account set up for them at Chase Bank for anyone who just wants to donate. The bank would wire it directly to the Anayas. I hope to have that done in the next couple of weeks.
I would love to hear from you. I am Todd.
